Update: Warrior Baby

Warrior Baby weighed in this morning at 1.08 pounds - a milestone when you began life at less than a pound! She was so cute today as she stretched - I don't know how anyone could get tired of watching them!

My co-worker's Warrior Baby has been brought back to Bay 1. He had some corrective surgery and right now he's having a congestive heart failure problem. The nurses feel that it will improve in a few days, though. But we're sad because as I've told you, the sickest babies are in Bay 1, and progress down to (if necessary)Bay 5 before they're dismissed. So, when one comes back to Bay 1 and has to start over, it's a sad day for all of us.

Remember the little one whose nurse was too busy with makeup to attend to her? She's made it to another room in Bay 3. There are two corridors in Bay 3 - one side seems to be for the sicker babies and as they improve, they go to the other corridor. She's now made it to the "other" side. I'm really tickled about it!

Today I went into a Bay 1 room to get a sample, and when I took the babe's blanket off to get to her feet, I burst out laughing. You see, she had on little booties that were designed to look like Michael Jordan's "Air Jorden" tennis shoes! It just cracked me up!

I really wish I could take pictures of all these babies to show you. Darned HIPAA anyway!

Mostly good news. Thats great. Glad the make up bitch is gone, I just hate to think she's still around our little angels.

I'll say prayers for WB that was moved back to Bay 1.

Thanks for the update. I love your blog.

Michael Jordan's tennis shoes, how funny!

Mostly awesome news! Lovin' the strength these WBs have. I'm so happy to hear the one is away from Dragonlady Nurse =)

I'll be sure to say extra prayers for the little one who's been moved back.
