I thought I'd show you a few more pictures that were taken at Lyn and Jared's wedding this summer. By way of simple explanation, Lyn and Jared chose to have their children prior to their wedding. When Vaughn made the Matron of Honor toast to Lyn and Jared, she broke the crowd up by saying, "At least you won't have to field questions on 'When are you going to have children?'
This picture is of Lyn, Jared and Luke as they came back down the aisle. Luke had run out to meet them, tripped across the white carpet, and thought he'd done something terribly wrong, so Daddy picked him up and carried him down the aisle with them. It was an "Awwwww" moment.
And yes, that's me in the background. I was honored to have my daughter and new son ask me to perform their wedding ceremony.

This is Luke with his Grandpa. He was a little past age 2 1/2 at the time of this picture. Holding him is my spouse, Robert. Luke and Robert are great buddies. Luke even walks like Robert. It's a hoot to see them walking somewhere together.

This is undoubtedly my very favorite picture that was taken this year. This is Lyn and Milana. Lainie was 7 months old in this picture. She was my very special birthday present in 2004. She's also the child who is to be the one designated as the "Mother's Curse" child...she's going to make her mother grey at an early age, just like her mother did to me!

Isn't it amazing how the little ones can change an event into something phenomenal?

Cute kids!! I really love the last picture too Kate, I can see where it is your favourite....
Great pics! Everyone looks so pretty. Lainie reminds me of my oldest at that age. Too cute!

Thanks Mel! She is a cute baby! We went to the mall today to get pictures taken with Santa. Luke was shy at first, but Lainie went right up to Santa and held her arms out to be picked up. Made Grandma's eyes water...silly kid. I'll post the picture when Lyn gets a copy to me.
