Looking forward to the week ahead...

I really am optimistic about the upcoming week; the week ending ended on an upward note for me.

I found my printer software; much to my dismay it was right where it belonged. I was completely boggled because I *knew* it had to be the right software, but the printer wouldn't work! The problem was that when the software gets reinstalled, you have to treat the printer like a brand new install and unhook all cords and rehook them like you'd just taken the thing out of the box. It was fine once I figured that out!

I did neglect to remember that my digital camera software needed to be reinstalled. I'm sure I'd have gotten around to that eventually, but in the search for the so-called missing printer software I found the camera software where the cats had played it under the library table. Duh. So, now all software has its proper place with appropriate manuals and instructions either in a file folder or on the bookshelf. Gods. What if I actually pull off being *efficient????*

This week, too, with the addition of the word processing software, I spent quite a bit of time writing. Almost 1000 words - far more than I'd accomplished for a good long time. This book, or my portion of it to date is looking really good! And, thus, for the most part, I have segments of my life that make me feel somewhat content.

After this past year with all its trials and tribulations, it's nice to look forward with a chance of seeing a glimmer of brightness out there! Let's hope it lasts!

You know the cats are very deliberate about that, right? They're holding it hostage, hoping to trade the software for this 'mouse' that they keep hearing about.

*grin* One of them is like that, but the other sits on my lap and watches the cursor. Of course, she's the one who watches football with Robert and chases the little men running on the screen. LOL I'm glad R finally found someone to watch football with him!
