The last sock knitting class was tonight. I completed one sock, have the other one half done. The tips I was given at this class were wonderful! Just goes to show that sometimes a person *can't* get everything out of a book!
I've already bought the yarn for two more pairs of socks. They'll hopefully get done and become Christmas presents.
I'll take a picture in the next couple of days and post it so you can see the finished product.
I see why people like *homemade* socks. They FIT.

Wow! What a great looking page.
Sorry for being a stranger, will try to improve my attendance.
Congrats on finishing the sock! I'm looking forward to see the completed pair =)
Model them! We wanna see them! *grins*
I would love to see the finished socks. I've been crocheting and find it relaxing as well as fun.
I made a huge error on the second sock so I had to rip it out, darn it. Then I started it again, and goofed again, so maybe the third time is a charm, huh? It's getting cold here...those socks have *got* to get done so I can wear 'em, dammit!
And, one of the OR techs came through the lab (a man, even) and thought my "sock" looked really cool and he asked if I'd be interested in knitting a pair for his wife. Thing is, I'm not sure he'd want to pay $25 or $30 for a pair of socks. I doubt I'd do 'em for anything less than that. The yarn alone will be about $15. I told him we'd have to talk about it later. I've got Christmas gifts that will take priority.
I promise I'll show 'em to you when I get the other one done.
