We had our monthly IPAN meeting tonight. It's the final meeting before Symposium, which is a one day event held every spring. If you want to see what it's all about, you can check it out here.
I'm excited about this year's Symposium. The workshops look interesting, and although I didn't know it, I'll be able to add to my list of "sins" this year and take a workshop on spinning. I'm not talking about a gym membership stationary bike class, but learning how to use a drop spindle to spin various fibers into yarn.
The fellowship is generally super, with people being active participants in the various workshops, and we have vendors who will undoubtedly make a dent in my checkbook. Nothing new there!
But, part of the peace of the place is the location. It's at a place called Spirit Hill which is a lovely and tranquil spot which always leaves me with a feeling of peace. And, after the year I've had, this will be a wonderful thing.
