When I was taking my photography classes years ago, my instructor said, "Anyone who brings in pictures of sunrises or sunsets, or pictures of ducks, will get an automatic "F". Everyone takes those pictures and I've seen enough to last a lifetime!"
Well, yeah. But I still like to take pictures of both of those things, although I got around the duck pic thing by taking pictures of the next best thing...bunnies! LOL
Anyway, I found these two "sunset" pictures on the camera and thought I'd share.

Sunrises and sunsets are one of my favourite things! These are both pretty Kate. :-)
When Mom was spending her last days with me, she'd wake up between 5:30 and 6:00. I'd put the coffee on and when it was ready, we'd have our coffee. Her bedroom had an east window, so I'd open the shade and we'd watch the sun rise. I always told her I figured that a beautiful sunrise was a gift from God. I feel that way about sunsets, too.
If I had a penny for every time I said that sunsets/rises were "a gift from God" I'd be rich!
