Love that 2/$11 bin...

I'm not a big WalMart fan, and I try not to shop there, but occasionally I have little choice.

Tonight I stopped by to pick up some cheap yarn and on the way to the checkout, had to pass that infamous bin with DVD's that are priced at 2 for $11.00. I generally always look them over, sometimes even dig down a little deeper if it looks interesting enough.

Tonight's "dig" resulted in the purchase of "A Knight's Tale" and an old early Kurt Russell movie called "Big Trouble in Little China".

*chuckles* Can't wait to watch them again. I also picked up Eragon, which everyone who's seen it at the theater says is good. Maybe tomorrow night I'll check one of them out, undoubtedly the one I haven't seen!

Yay you got your skin pic back!

ON principle, Walmart the company isn't my fav place to spend my money but holy crap it's sure the best place to get deals and save my hard earned money too. Kind of a double edged sword. :-(

I thought it was an unwritten rule that only crap was in those bins.

Jay - thanks for dropping by :) I'm off to check your sites in a few!

I'm getting pretty selective about the DVD's I buy, and I've found that goofy "cheap" bin a great source of movies that have become classics in our family, so I always check. And, of course now certain VHS tapes need to be replaced by DVD's...it's always worth the look...and even a few good eye rolls and laughs at some of the dorky things in there!
