A review...

Tell 'em Kate sent you.

It's not often that I actually sit down and write some kind of review these days. But, I'm making an exception in this case.

Today I read a story that is a collaborative effort of three people whose blogs I read on a daily basis. I know some of you do, too, and I want to make sure that if you don't, you make an exception and read these.

I'm no slouch with the written word; I love to write even more when I'm working with my writing partner. The words flow as we bounce ideas off each other (and sometimes bounced ideas HURT!)

But, these three friends did a truly amazing job; in spite of the very real differences in writing style, A.D., Babs, and Matt brought a piece of reality-based fiction together in a tightly woven display of words, guaranteed to captivate their readers into wanting more.

And this writer did. I eagerly devoured each character perspective, stopping several times throughout their narratives to think, absorb and ponder how each character's feelings and emotions would be interacting with each other.

I am humbled and honored to know these three people, if only through the narratives they present on their blogs. I hope the day will come when I can meet each of them in person, shake their hand, or give a hug and tell them in person, "thank you".

Please take the time to read this wonderful three-chaptered story. The name of it is Perspectives and you'll find these stories at these links:

1. Matt's Perspectives

2. A.D.'s Perspectives

3. Bab's Perspectives

Click on the word "Perspectives" to reach each story.

And, may I suggest a box of tissues nearby? For some reason, it was raining at my keyboard as I read. It could happen at your computer, too.

Wow! They really had my attention!
I hit your blog first and wanted to say thanks for sending me over to them. I have been awaiting their story.
Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks for the link, Kate. I'm working on that post you suggested to me, by the way.

Lainy - thanks! Glad I was able to let you know the story was up and running.

And, yes, recovering from this surgery has been easier because the top jaw wasn't as bad as the other side, so the pain factor is not quite as bad.

A.D. - You're welcome; it's the kind of review I love to write, and glad I was doing it for a friend for a change!

And, glad to know you thought there was some merit in my suggestion. I'll look forward to reading it when you get it done and posted.
