Frantic fingers...

Snippet called in sick this morning. Whoever answered the phone had the presence of mind to ask her if she was in labor, and she said she was...

So, guess what I've been doing today? Yup, working like mad on that baby afghan. I've gotten one more pattern group done since I got home from work, so the current count is 41 total rows left to do.

I'm taking a break for a bit, though. If I'm industrious enough, I *could* get the rest of the patterns done by this evening and just have the edging to do tomorrow. I'll see how it goes.

So did you manage to finish it up? How is Snippet? The baby?

I have about 21 rows left. I put the thing down when it was time to fix dinner last night and just didn't have the oomph to pick it back up last night.

I'm about ready to start in on it again, but since I just woke up, I think I'll have breakfast first! With luck it should be done today. I have to teach tonight, so I must work studiously on the thing! LOL

Haven't heard any more about Snippet. I'll tell you when I do. I'm going to take the afghan to work and tell people to make sure they take it to her when they visit her in the hospital. Whether I'll get to see her or not is unknown. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the posse would just keep all the news to themselves and not tell the rest of the peons in the lab that she'd delivered!
