It's now 4:30p.m. and I have to get ready to leave for class. But, I thought I'd update you on my progress with the afghan.
The patterning is all finished. I have eight rows of straight knitting to do and then it's finished...well, it will still need to be washed, dried and have loose ends tucked and sewn. I'll take a picture of it when it's done and off the needles so you can see it; then if it decides to unravel in the wash (always one of my fears!) then you'll know that it was complete for a brief moment in time!
UPDATE: It's now 15 minutes till midnight and I'll hate myself when the alarm goes off at 4 a.m., but the afghan is done and off the needles. I still need to weave in some yarn pieces and wash and dry it. It looks good. I'll take pics of it tomorrow in decent light. I still haven't heard if Snippet had her baby. I'll find out tomorrow at work. Now I'm off to bed - it's been a long day.

I hope you'll get some better rest tonight! Congrats on finishing the afghan though. I'm looking forward to seeing a picture :)
Sounds like no one slept last night. I'm glad you got an afghan out of the deal. Can't wait to see it!
