A slouch in the kitchen I ain't. So, when I have a brain fart in that particular part of the house, it's usually a pretty good (?) one.
Yesterday was no exception. Sunday night has been pizza night around here for years. We used to call it family night and we'd have pizza, watch movies, play games, etc. The tradition has carried on even though the kids are gone.
Pizza sounded good last night, but Robert wasn't hungry for pizza unless it was homemade. I wasn't in the mood to make pizza, so he brought home a frozen pizza for me and something else for himself.
All went well; the pizza was prepared and duly baked. My taste buds were all primed. I pulled it out of the oven and sliced through it with the cutter. It sure didn't seem to cut well.
Uh oh. I didn't....
Yeah, I did. Somehow I managed to neglect to take the pizza off the cardboard circle.
Did you know that pizza adheres quite well to cardboard, making it impossible to remove?
My pizza went in the trash to the sounds of swearing. The whole flippin' thing.
I really did not enjoy the bologna sandwich that took its place. *sigh*

Hmmmm...... the new health food..... cardboard pizza!
WAIT! They already have those but I believe they call them 'rice cakes'. Bleh!
Poor Kate! Oh, how often have I done things like that. Commiseratin' with ya, sista.
And guess what I had for dinner last night?? Yup, a bologna sandwhich!! LOL
What a drag, Kate. Bologna is good, but pizza it ain't.
At least there weren't four or five kids waiting to share. You might've had a riot on your hands.
Trace - The popcorn cakes are better ;)
Jude - I hope you *wanted* the bologna sandwich instead of being forced into eating it! LOL
Robin - ARGH! If there would have been five kids, it would have been delivery - couldn't trust DiGiorno's in case I left the cardboard on that, too! LOL
