Oh, I have been SO delighted this week from time to time when I've explained to people that I'm going to be in the classroom for the next three days, and their response has been gratifying: "Are you teaching?"
It makes me so happy when I hear that! While I am pretty confident in my teaching, it simply reaffirms to my "inner ego child" that I'm doing it right. And, it would be nice to get back into the classroom once more - and yes, I do have some thoughts in mind to do that very thing.
But, no, I'm not teaching, I'm learning. This is reflexology continuing ed, and the topic is on Pain Management. I've taken some webinars from the workshop instructor and like her style. She is also a massage therapist, as am I, so we share similar views on some of the inconsistencies between the two modalities. It's going to be a good one...I can feel it - and with her additional class on Sunday regarding business practices, I expect to find new examples that will get me fired up to push forward.
In other words...not only do I hope to come out with new client intake forms, but also the enthusiasm to brush off my HTML skills and start writing code. *moans* Yep, web page time again!
Anyway, it's tempting to write more, but I've got a list a mile long that needs attending, and have a client mid afternoon, so I'd best haul my butt out of the chair and start in on stuff before I get too comfy!!!
