The Park's Even More Flooded
A couple of weeks ago I posted some pictures from a local park.
We took the dogs on a walk today at that same park, and found a whole lot more water to behold.

The line of trees in the background are at the edge of the river. This water is left from receding water; we're still under flood watch because of massive rains the last couple of days, so all the grass could be covered yet again.

You can see the river much better in this picture.

Uhhh...where'd the path disappear to?

Just another odd looking tree I took a liking to

As many times as I've been to this park, I didn't know this statue was there. With the work I do, I'm sure there will be times when I'll be needing to find a few minutes of refuge there.

Yama and Phoebe in the truck, coming home from our walk in the park

Thought I'd show you a picture of my "bleeding heart" plant. We're supposed to have a 50% chance of snow tomorrow and that will probably temporarily damage the beauty of it, so I took the picture today, just in case.

Of course, my lilacs probably won't fare as well if it snows!

I do love the little patches of violets that are scattered around my yard.

Hannah and Yama taking it easy in the back yard.

The irrepressible Miss Bree, lounging in the sunshine.

Pretty flowers Kate, and the critters are cute too!
Thanks, Trace :)
Beautiful kitty.
We have had our fair share of flooding here in AR. The last 3 days have been nice.
I hope the plants survived.
Such cute furries Kate! Wow that's a lot of water, I hope it starts to dry up soon and no more flooding.
Your flowers are so pretty, I'm waiting with held breath to see how are 3 dwarf lilacs do this year. We only planted them last year.
Ya know Kate, if the water recedes, I'd love to come down to LammasFest. Of course, you'll have to let me know WHERE... ;)
