how to be a smart ass most of the time. I realized it today when I was trying to think of a good topic to blog about.
Hmmmm...let's see...if I do a quick inventory of the things that have occupied my mind the last 36 hours or so, it becomes a very short list, which include the following:
1. Job-related crap which doesn't include my "work".
2. Trying to figure out the next chapter in my latest writing subject.
3. Wondering how I could have possibly consumed almost a whole bag of M & M pretzels in less than 24 hours.
4. Wishing Himself would go downstairs to watch stupid basketball so I could feel like I could come out of my office and not go stark raving mad.
5. Wishing I had a grown-up to talk to that shared some of my interests.
6. Being grateful that the dog laying at my feet who just farted didn't make me pass out from the smell.
In short, I'm bored to bits after being in this house with a sick spouse and only one work shift in the last four days. I'm craving good conversation, socialization and fun!
Tomorrow? Please? Pretty please????

OMG that is too funny, pet farts can be soooo bad sometimes! I don't know how many times I've said "how can something so foul come from something with such a sweet little face???" LOL!!
I'm sure some people wish I would forget how to be a smart ass. LOL. It's part of my every day existence. My office didn't close at all from the bad weather, so I didn't have to be cooped up all week thank goodness. I probably would have gone mad.
This is a test comment left by a normally non blogger, this is only a test.
Had this been a real comment, you would have been directed to the nearest storm shelter for your safety.
That concludes this test comment. We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog.
Okay, John, now that you've figured out how to reply to a blog post, I hope to see you stop by more often...or better yet...you COULD start a blog of your own! It's a good idea - you write well, have interesting things to say, and take great vacation photos!
Thanks for stopping by!
